
Wales Consumption & Expenditure

DEFRA's expenditure and food survey for 2006 shows that average weekly consumption all types of milk is higher in Wales than in the rest of the UK. Semi-skimmed consumption is 17mls/person/week higher than the rest of the UK and whole and skimmed milk consumption is 25ml/person/week higher than the rest of the UK. Therefore, total liquid consumption in Wales is 67mls/person/week higher than the rest of the UK.
