Overview of consumer liquid milk market

There has been a change to the way in which we publish consumer data from TNS. To provide more useful data, we have split TNS information into the following sections:

Each page will give a snapshot of the market in terms of volume and expenditure.

Total milk sales for the year ending 28/12/08 increased by 0.35% (17.1m litres) to a total of 4,896.2m litres compared to the previous year. Over the same period, expenditure has also increased by 13.32% (£382.2m) to £3,252.2m.
