Dairy Crest has announced that it is to increase prices paid to its Davidstow cheese group and non-dedicated supply group liquid milk producers by 0.4ppl from 1 July. The liquid milk price increase has been attributed to the strength of commodity markets, particularly SMP. The cheese increase is attributed to anticipated increases in future cheese prices.
